Pesticide Free, Safe Mosquito Control
The BugJammer Home and Garden insect control device was invented in 2000. It is based on the use of a low frequency dog or human heartbeat sound and visual cues to attract biting insects. It is highly effective at attracting and capturing a wide range of biting flies and mosquitoes. In addition heat was added was added to enhance mosquito capture. Flying insects attracted by the sound and visual cues alight on the resonator cap and are captured on a glue sleeve cover. Field tests show the range of attraction to be in excess of 1,000 feet in all directions as long as there was no interference from buildings or vegetation.
Heartbeat Sounds Attract Mosquitoes
The non-toxic glue is a special blend able to hold insects that land with a very light touch, such as mosquitoes. It is interesting to note that number and species of mosquitoes vary depending on the type of heart beat sound employed. This low voltage unit with sound, heat and visual cues is manufactured in the United States for use against mosquitoes.
Protect Your Family
Multiple laboratory, field, and university tests demonstrate that the low frequency heartbeat sound can be an importance component in capturing mosquitoes. USDA Research Services have confirmed the BugJammer Home and Garden unit to be a highly effective mosquito trap.
